Belén Bonilla (she/her) is a Strategic Engagement Associate at PRRI. She has five years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership coordination. 

She previously served as a Legal Assistant with the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program, where she provided technical support to attorneys and liaised across departments, state affiliates, and partners to advance strategic litigation challenging racial inequities in public education, housing, fair lending, policing, and the family regulation system. 

Before joining the ACLU, Belen served as a Program Associate on the International Advocacy and Litigation team at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, where she engaged in coalition building, organized high-level convenings, and executed multi-faceted advocacy strategies alongside human rights lawyers and activists to promote social inclusion and the protection of civic space globally. 

Belen is a graduate of American University, where she received her BA in International Studies with a focus in Identity, Race, Gender, and Cultural Studies.
