Mitt Romney’s Favorability

This week’s Graphic of the Week shows changes in presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s favorability among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents over the past eighteen months. Of particular interest are the past eight months’ findings: Romney’s favorability among Democrats has actually declined slightly since September 2011. By contrast, Republicans’ opinions of Romney have grown much more favorable over the past six months. Independents have remained mostly stable in their opinions about Romney, although they are slightly more likely to favor him today than last September.
