Religious Identities and the Race Against the Virus: Engaging Faith Communities on COVID-19 Vaccination
04.22.2021

On Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 10-11:30 a.m. EDT, PRRI and IFYC will present findings from their joint Religious Diversity and Vaccine Survey, a national research project based on more than 5,600 nationally representative interviews. The survey report explores Americans’ attitudes toward the COVID-19 vaccine through the lens of religion, politics, and racial/ethnic identity and examines the role faith communities play in overcoming hesitancy. A panel discussion will address sources of vaccine hesitancy and recommendations, based on the results of the survey, for faith-based approaches for increasing vaccine uptake.

The event will feature PRRI CEO Robert P. Jones and Director of Research Natalie Jackson, IFYC President Eboo Patel, and Kaiser Family Foundation Vice President and Director of Public Opinion and Survey Research Liz Hamel.
